Undereye Filler

Undereye Filler
What is Undereye Filler?

A subtle correction for hollowing and shadow beneath the eyes.

Undereye filler uses small, precise volumes of hyaluronic acid to soften the hollow of the tear trough. The result is a smoother transition between the lower lid and cheek, with less shadow and a more rested appearance, without surgery, and usually with little downtime.

At DROM, every undereye treatment begins with a careful assessment of your anatomy. We map the depth of the tear trough, the position of the orbital rim and the quality of the skin before placing a single drop of filler.

What We Use

Cross-linked hyaluronic acid.

Undereye filler uses a soft, low-density hyaluronic acid chosen for the delicate skin of the under-eye region. We discuss product selection (Restylane, Juvederm and similar HA ranges) during your consultation, based on the depth of your tear trough and the thickness of your skin. In this area we favour a blunt cannula to reduce the risk of bruising and to protect the surrounding vessels.

Benefits

Why patients choose this

A measured correction that changes how the eye area reads, not how it moves.

Softens the hollow

Fills the tear trough to reduce the shadow that reads as tiredness.

Smoother transition

Blends the lower lid into the cheek for a more even contour.

Minimal downtime

You can return to your day straight away. Mild swelling settles over a few days.

Quick treatment

The procedure takes around 20 minutes, from cleansing to completion.

Immediate softening

A visible difference on the day, refining over the following weeks.

Long-lasting result

Effects last 6 to 18 months on average, depending on individual metabolism.

Reversible by design

Hyaluronic acid filler can be dissolved if any adjustment is ever needed.

Cannula-led placement

A blunt cannula is used to protect the delicate under-eye tissue.

Process

How the treatment works

Six steps from consultation to settled result.

Consultation

We assess tear trough depth, the orbital rim and skin quality in person.

Mapping

Entry and placement points are marked to your individual anatomy.

Cleansing

The treatment area is cleansed with an antiseptic solution.

Placement

A blunt cannula delivers small volumes of filler with control, using brief pressure only.

Aftercare

You receive written aftercare guidance and a direct point of contact.

Onset of result

The effect is visible immediately, with the final result settling over 2 to 3 weeks.

Expected Results

What the result looks like.

  • A softer, shallower tear trough within the first few days.
  • A smoother contour between the lower lid and cheek.
  • Reduced shadow and a more rested look around the eyes.
  • A natural effect that respects your features and your expression.
  • A result that lasts 6 to 18 months on average.
Aftercare & Recovery

The first 48 hours.

  • Avoid touching, rubbing or applying pressure to the area for 24 hours.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise, the sauna or hot yoga for 48 hours.
  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours to reduce the risk of bruising. If you take a blood thinner prescribed by a doctor, do not stop it; tell us at consultation.
  • Sleep with your head slightly raised for the first few nights to limit swelling.
  • Mild swelling, redness or bruising may appear, and settles over a few days.
