Drooping brows occur when the eyebrows sit lower than before, sometimes creating heaviness over the upper eyelids or a tired appearance. The degree of change may differ between the two sides.
What causes drooping brows?
Age-related loss of skin elasticity, changes in forehead tissues and repeated muscle activity can lower the brow over time. Genetics, facial anatomy and, less commonly, nerve or medical conditions may also play a role; sudden drooping requires prompt medical assessment.
