A misshapen nose may involve asymmetry, an uneven bridge or tip, or a contour that feels out of balance with the rest of the face. It may be purely cosmetic or associated with breathing difficulty.
What causes misshapen nose?
Nasal shape is mainly determined by inherited bone and cartilage structure. Injury, previous surgery, developmental differences or changes in the supporting tissues can also affect appearance and function.
