Autologous platelet-rich plasma.

PRP

PRP
What is PRP?

Your own platelets, used to regenerate the skin.

PRP is a regenerative treatment that uses a concentrate of your own blood platelets to stimulate the skin from within. A small blood sample is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to isolate the platelet-rich plasma, which is then returned to the skin. The growth factors it carries prompt fibroblasts to produce fresh collagen and elastin, leaving the skin firmer, smoother and more radiant. Nothing synthetic, nothing borrowed.

At DROM, PRP is planned around your skin quality and your goals. We assess texture, tone and laxity before deciding whether to deliver the plasma by injection, by microneedling, or as part of a combined programme.

What We Use

Autologous platelet-rich plasma.

PRP is prepared entirely from your own blood, so no foreign material is involved. We use a closed, medical-grade centrifuge system to concentrate the platelets, then apply the plasma by fine-needle injection or through controlled microneedling. The method and the number of sessions are agreed in consultation, based on your skin and what you would like to achieve.

Benefits

Why patients choose this

A natural, regenerative approach that works with your own biology.

Your own biology

Prepared from your own blood, with no synthetic filler or foreign material.

Stimulates collagen

Platelet growth factors prompt the skin to produce fresh collagen and elastin.

Improves texture

Smoother skin, refined pores and a brighter, more even tone over time.

Softens fine lines

Gradual improvement in fine lines and overall skin quality.

Minimal downtime

Most people return to normal activity the same day, and mild redness settles quickly.

Versatile delivery

Delivered by injection or microneedling, tailored to your skin and goals.

Combines well

Pairs naturally with microneedling, hyaluronic acid and other skin treatments.

Anatomy-led plan

Tailored to your individual skin, never a fixed protocol.

Process

How the treatment works

Six steps from consultation to renewal.

Consultation

Skin texture, tone and goals assessed in person.

Blood draw

A small blood sample is taken from the arm.

Centrifuge

The sample is spun to isolate the platelet-rich plasma.

Preparation

The skin is cleansed and a topical numbing cream is applied.

Application

The plasma is delivered by fine-needle injection or microneedling.

Renewal

Collagen builds gradually over the following weeks and months.

Expected Results

What the result looks like.

  • Early radiance and smoother texture within the first one to two weeks.
  • Firmer, more even skin as collagen renews over four to twelve weeks.
  • Softened fine lines and refined skin quality.
  • Best results come from a course of three to four sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart.
  • Results last around twelve to eighteen months with periodic maintenance.
Aftercare & Recovery

The first 24 to 48 hours.

  • Avoid washing the face or wearing make-up for the rest of the day.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas and hot tubs for 24 hours.
  • Avoid retinol, exfoliants and other active ingredients for several days.
  • Protect the skin from the sun and apply a broad-spectrum SPF 50.
  • Mild redness, swelling or tenderness may appear briefly, settling within a few days.
