Lip lines are fine vertical creases on or around the lips, often most noticeable above the upper lip. They may affect lipstick application and become visible even when the mouth is relaxed.
What causes lip lines?
Repeated lip movement, age-related collagen loss and reduced lip volume all contribute. Sun exposure, smoking, genetics and skin dehydration may make these lines appear earlier or more deeply.
