Sagging breasts, medically called breast ptosis, describes a lower breast position and reduced firmness. It is a common change and varies widely between individuals.
What causes sagging breasts?
Ageing, pregnancy, breastfeeding-related volume changes, gravity, genetics, breast size, smoking and weight fluctuations can stretch the skin and supporting ligaments. A new lump, nipple change, skin dimpling or one-sided change requires medical assessment.
